CONTAINS:
- Approximately 500 composting worms (mix of Red Wigglers, European Nightcrawlers, & African Nightcrawlers), worm castings, & unfinished compost
USES:
- Start worm composting system
- Add to existing compost pile
- Add to raised bed/garden with ample organic material
HOW TO MAINTAIN COMPOST:
- 3:1 bedding to food volume ratio
- Bedding – shredded paper/cardboard; aged leaves, grass clippings, & horse/cow manure
- Food – used coffee grounds, food waste, fresh horse/cow manure
- Ideal worm habitat is between 55-95°F with 80% moisture content (like a wrung-out sponge)
